Extractions and surgical procedures handled with skill and your comfort in mind. Sometimes a tooth can't be saved, or a wisdom tooth needs to come out before it causes problems. We don't recommend an extraction unless it's the right call, and we'll explain why clearly when it is.

Before your appointment, we'll walk you through what to expect during the procedure and how recovery usually goes. No surprises. If you have questions, we want you to ask them before you're in the chair, not during.

We also talk about options for the gap when it matters, so you're not left without a next step.

What to expect

How an extraction appointment works.

  1. Review and questions before anything happens.

    We go over what the extraction involves, what the anesthesia process feels like, and what recovery typically looks like. Your questions get answered first.

  2. Numbing the area.

    We numb the site thoroughly before starting. You may feel pressure but not pain. If something doesn't feel right, tell us and we'll address it.

  3. The extraction.

    Simple extractions are typically quick. Surgical extractions for impacted teeth take a little longer. Either way, we work carefully and without rushing.

  4. Recovery guidance.

    Clear aftercare instructions before you leave, including what to watch for and when to call us if something doesn't feel right.

Insurance

We accept most PPO plans. Extractions are typically covered as a basic or major service, depending on whether it's a simple or surgical extraction and your specific plan.

Financing

We offer third-party financing through Cherry, along with an in-house membership plan for patients who prefer it.
